About
Aroundohio.today.com is a look at what’s happening around the state of Ohio. From the shores of Lake Erie to the riverboats on the mighty Ohio River, and all points in between, I will be writing about what to do, where to go, what’s going on, and how to get there.
And just who am I? My name is John Kazalia, and well, I have lived in Ohio for all of my 44 years. I’ve lived in Toledo, Bowling Green, Cleveland, near Youngstown, and lately in and around Columbus. I’ve stayed with friends in Mansfield, Lima, and Cincinnati. I’ve visited relatives in Warren and Dayton. I’ve spent time in Kent, Marietta, Portsmouth, Zanesville, New Philadelphia and Ashtabula. I occasionally shop in Springfield and Chillicothe. Yes, if it’s a town of any size in Ohio, I’ve been there.
Is this the only reason I am qualified to operate this site? Well, no. Yours truly has a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Library Science degree from Kent State University (both in Ohio, of course). I’ve studied many varieties of writing, and research methods. I have operated other Web sites prior to this one. And I love traveling around Ohio; now I get to write about it!
If you have thoughts about what you’d like to see on this site, or questions about Ohio, drop me an email at JK43123@yahoo.com. Viva the Buckeye state!
